The National Testing Agency (NTA) facilitates NEET for entrance to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, and other medical/paramedical courses in India. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance exam for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. The exam is conducted annually. NEET 2021 will be held at around 155 test centers in India. Along with roughly 16 lakh test-takers, NEET is the most crucial medical entrance examination in India for UG admissions. NEET 2021: What's New Different?
- NTA NEET UG 2021 entrance exam will be held on August 1, 2021. On March 12, 2021, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal "Nishank" verified that NEET 2021 will be held once via offline approach. The application process to begin shortly.

- NTA also gave clarification on NEET 2021 curriculum, the authority already said that there will be no change or cutback in the curriculum of the NEET 2021 exam. On the other hand, this year, due to the syllabus cuts created by CBSE and state boards, NTA would be providing the internal options to students to cover the cut-down syllabus.
- Like last year, NEET 2021 exam will also be carried out in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Urdu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujrati, Oriya, Assamese, Kannada, and Telugu. Candidates can choose their option of language at the time of filling the NEET 2021 application form.
- NEET 2021 application form is likely to be launched on the official website of NTA anytime very soon. The last date to submit the application form is expected to be in the fourth week of June. NEET 2021 admit card is likely to be launched in the 1st week of July and will be accessible for download online. Right after the examination is held, applicants will have the opportunity to download the provisionary answer key of the NEET 2021 exam, tentatively in the fourth week of August. The end result of NEET 2021 is anticipated to be released in the first week of September, together with the final answer key. NEET Eligibility Criteria 2021
The National Testing Agency has recommended the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria. All individuals who wish to make an application for the entrance test are advised to check out if they match the criteria specified by NTA. Candidates who meet the following parameters are eligible for NEET 2021:

Nationality:
- Indian Nationals
- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
- Persons with Indian Origin (PIO).
- Foreign Nationals.

Age Restriction:
- The minimum age of an applicant as of December 31, 2021, should be 17 years.
- The rule specifying the utmost age restriction of the candidate was questioned last year in the judicature. Thus, there is no upper age limit as of now, and applicants older than 25 years of age applying for NEET 2021 will be provisionally admitted subject to the judgment of the High Court of Delhi.

Minimum required qualification:
- The candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equal from a recognized institute.
- Candidates who are actually standing for Class 12 or equal in summer 2021 can also request NEET 2021.
- Applicants who have finished Class 12 or equivalent from an open school are as well entitled.

Mandatory subjects:
- Applicant must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equal with Biology as an additional subject are also entitled.

Minimum marks required in the qualifying exam:
- General category: 50 percent.
- PWD category: 45 percent.
- SC/ST/OBC: 40 percent.
