What is actually JEE Main?
The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), commonly known as JEE Main, is a national level entrance exam conducted by the NTA to provide entrance to BE/BTech, BPlan, and BArch programs in the NITs (National Institute of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) across the nation. JEE Main is even the gateway for JEE advanced. Just the top 2.5 lakh score holders in JEE Mains 2021 will certainly be eligible to request JEE Advanced for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs granted by IITs in India. The traditional counseling cum seat allotment for all of the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs will be organized and managed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Last year, 107 institutes participated in JoSAA Counselling. JEE Main 2021 - April and May Exam Postponed
The National Testing Agency has suspended the JEE Main 2021 April and May exams due to COVID-19 break out. JEE Main new dates for both the sessions will be revealed later, at least 15 days before the execution of the exam. The rescheduling for JEE Main 2021 April and May dates will be done consequently and dates will be declared on the official website. JEE Main April 2021 was to be conducted from April 27 to 30 while the May examination was scheduled on 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 May. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in for JEE Main 2021 dates. JEE Main admit card will be released on the internet on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in after the announcement of exam dates. JEE Main 2021 May registration has also been postponed. The JEE Main 2021 registration was to start from May 3 on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
